Award nominations sought

As the Christmas season approaches and schedules begin to fill, officials with the Cairo-Grady County Chamber of Commerce are soliciting nominations for the chamber’s annual citizen awards.
Chamber Executive Vice President Jennifer Majors issued the call this week for nominations and set a deadline to accept nominations of Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.
“If you have nominated someone in the past who failed to receive an award, please do not hesitate to resubmit your nomination,” Mrs. Majors said.
The chamber annually recognizes the Farm Family of the Year, the Professional of the Year, Man of the Year, Woman of the Year and Community Service Award winner.
