New chamber directors are elected by members

The ballots have been counted and three new members of the Cairo-Grady County Chamber of Commerce have been elected directors by the membership.
Elected to serve three-year terms are Joe Porter of Porter Insurance Agency; Alan Wells of Cairo Auto Supply; and Chastity Cox of the Bank of the Ozarks.
With the election of the three new directors, Heath Sanders of South Georgia Outdoors and Matt McCaskill of Capital City Bank will be retiring from the board.
Incoming Chamber Chairman Matt Sanders has asked retiring chairman Nat Higdon to serve an additional one-year term.
Other board members include Cairo City Manager Chris Addleton, Attorney Kevin S. Cauley, Shanda Pyrz of Center Drugs, Attorney Lawton Heard, and Gail Cook of Cook Electronics-Radio Shack.
