Investigation into home invasion continues
Investigators with the Grady County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia Bureau of Investigation are continuing their probe into a vicious attack of a couple in their home nearly two weeks ago.
The search for clues is taking place while the victims continue their healing. The Tallahassee hospital where Mrs. Linda Scarboro was being treated, declined to acknowledge she was a patient this week. However, law enforcement officials said they were under the impression she was still hospitalized due to the wounds she suffered when she and her husband, Sammy Scarboro, were attacked April 26. Mr. Scarboro was treated and released.
When deputies arrived at 958 Bryant Road, they found Mrs. Scarboro lying on the floor of the closet in the master bedroom with severe wounds to her face and head. She was able to describe the attacker as a white man wearing camouflage and a mask. Mr. Scarboro was apparently knocked out since he did not see or remember anything until he awoke on the floor.
So far, no arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
