Benefit concert is Thursday night
An evening of contemporary Christian music performed by three local groups will benefit Cairo’s Zebulon Theater with all proceeds from ticket sales going to the community theater.
Lavon Cox, a member of the band “By The Blood,” which is a Christian rock band, has organized the benefit concert, according to Zebulon officials.
The benefit concert kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night. Tickets are only $4 and are available now at the theater box office and the night of the show.
In addition to Cox, the members of “By the Blood” include Corey Torres, Josh McDonald, Drew Morgan, Allyssa Serine and Phillip Lambert.
Also performing Thursday night is the Cairo rapping praise band “Georgia Red,” whose members are John Vann and Trey Ezell.
“Atonement” a praise band from Pelham is the third band that will be performing tomorrow night.
Lisa Adams, a member of Crossroads Church in Beachton, will serve as the emcee for the evening and, according to Lavon Cox, will be giving her personal testimony Thursday night.
Zebulon officials encourage everyone to come enjoy a night of inspiring and uplifting contemporary Christian music and help support Cairo’s Zebulon Theater.
