Mormons planning special service

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will be celebrating their pioneer’s arrival in the Salt Lake valley in 1847 and invite the community to participate on Saturday, July 23, beginning at 4 p.m.
Check your family records, find an ancestor from 1847, and portray them.
Bring a picnic supper and a blanket at 6 p.m. for your family to spread on the “grounds,”  even though it will be indoors and air conditioned.
