Methodists to host special prayer service Thursday
Cairo First United Methodist Church will be open to the community on May 5, 2011, from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. for National Day of Prayer.
Everyone is invited to participate in this national event.
There will be a brief prayer service at 6:30 p.m. outside in front of the church.
All children will receive a prayer bracelet and American flag.
Through the National Day of Prayer, church leaders say the Grady County community will be participating in a national prayer movement to unite us as one nation under the authority, protection and guidance of God Almighty.
