Tickets are still available for this Thursday’s drawing to win a new John Deere Gator, a fund raiser for Grady General Support League.
Only 400 tickets will be sold at $100 each for a chance to win the vehicle, which is valued at $16,000. The winning ticket will be drawn before the Cairo Christmas parade during a ceremony in front of the Grady County Courthouse.
“We are excited about this raffle because the money we raise will go toward a needed piece of equipment for Grady General Hospital,” says Nancy Vance, chairman of the Support League. Mrs. Vance says the money will help buy a $31,000 portable ultrasound machine that is state-of-the-art. Having the portable ultrasound unit will allow hospital staff to perform procedures with greater clarity and versatility.
