RML & Jackson’s Hot Dogs team up

Roddenbery Memorial Library Children’s Librarian Teresa Groves and Jackson’s Hot Dogs owner Jack McGahee show the June 15 Jackson’s coupons to some young summer readers.  Behind them is the already crowded Vacation Reading Program progress chart on the RML Children’s Room wall

Roddenbery Memorial Library will partner with Jackson’s Hot Dogs during the summer to offer three coupon nights to raise funds for the library. Families coming to the library for summer reading materials can take coupons and visit Jackson’s Hot Dogs, located on U.S. 84 East, on certain days to benefit the library.
On June 15, June 29, and July 13, Jackson’s will take the coupons between 4 and 8 p.m.  Participants will get to enjoy some of the variety of foods offered by the restaurant, and 20% of their food purchase will go toward a donation from Jackson’s to the library.
“Anyone who has been wanting to try the 1/3-pound hamburger or chili cheese burger or a box of slaw dogs at Jackson’s now has a prime opportunity to do that and also help the community support the library during the recession,” said Library Director Alan Kaye.
The coupons can be used as bookmarks until the day of the promotion and should then be taken to Jackson’s for the library fun(d) raiser.  Coupons are available now at the library.  For details call RML at 377-3632.
