The Shiver Builders Club challenged its membership to raise $36 per member and join the Ferst Foundation’s “March of 1000” fundraising campaign to raise $36,000 needed to fund the program in the coming year.  The Grady County Ferst Foundation is under the umbrella of the Grady County Literacy Committee and has, for the past five years, been providing free age-appropriate books to Grady County children from birth to age five. Shiver Builders Club members stepped up to the challenge and raised a total of $1,044 in donations selling suckers as a fundraising project at school.
