Deadline for chamber award nominations is January 4

With all of the activities associated with the holiday season it would be easy to forget an upcoming deadline, but Chamber of Commerce officials are hoping you remember the annual community awards.
The deadline for nominations is fast approaching as Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, is just around the corner.
Awards are presented annually by the chamber for the man, woman and young professional of the year, as well as the farm family of the year and community service award.
Award criteria and nomination forms are available at the chamber.
“We encourage everyone to submit a nomination for anyone they consider deserving. The awards will be presented at the chamber’s annual membership meeting on Monday, Feb. 1,” Chamber Executive Vice President Jennifer Majors said this week.
