Veterans Day service is planned

Veterans Day will be observed here next Wednesday at a ceremony on the lawn of the Grady County Courthouse scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
A guest speaker has not been confirmed as of presstime Wednesday, but the program will feature the Dunarnis Youth Choir from Family Worship Center as well as the Cairo High School Syrupmaker Band.
Presenting the colors will be cadets with the NJROTC from Cairo High School.
Local veterans encourage everyone to come and take part in the ceremony and honor our nation’s veterans for their service to the country.
Remember that on Wednesday the following will be closed:
‰All county offices
‰U.S. Post Office
‰Local banks
‰Chamber of Commerce
All City of Cairo offices will be open Wednesday and garbage collection will not be interrupted by the holiday.
