Sheriff’s Office makes drug bust Tuesday

Albert Davis, left, and Kenneth Dewayne Williams, both of Cairo, were arrested Tuesday night on drug charges.

A pair of Cairo men were arrested on drug charges in an undercover operation late Tuesday night.
At 11:30 p.m., Oct. 27, investigators with the Grady County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Albert Davis and 23-year-old Kenneth Dewayne Williams. Davis and Williams were taken into custody at the intersection of Wight Road and Collins Road, according to Sheriff’s Investigator Steve Clark.
Officers say they found nearly five grams of crack cocaine stashed in separate interior areas of the car they were traveling in at the time of their arrest.
Both Davis and Williams are charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. They are being held in Grady Detention Center.
