Newspaper website will be off-line several hours Monday
The Cairo Messenger website will be off line for a couple of hours beginning at approximately 6 p.m. on Monday, October 26th to allow for a server upgrade, Messenger Editor & Publisher Randolph H. Wind said this week.
The down time is necessary while upgrades are made to the servers that host the newspaper website. According to Wind, the change will keep the website operating at peak performance.
It will be necessary for the website to go off line while the transition to a new server farm takes place.
“We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause, but we wanted our website readers to know in advance that the site would be interrupted for a couple of hours next Monday,” Editor Wind said.
If you cannot access the site late Monday or on Tuesday contact The Messenger at 229-377-2032 or email Wind at rwind@cairomessenger.com.
