Boys & Girls Club membership registration to begin Nov. 2

Registration for membership in the new Boys & Girls Club of Cairo/Grady County opens Monday, November 2nd to all local youth between ages 6-14.
Interested youth are encouraged to register at the Holder Park Community Center on Monday, Nov. 2nd and Tuesday, Nov. 3rd between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
An annual membership fee of $5 will be charged and birth certificates will be required for age verification for all six year olds.
A limited number of children in each age group will be allowed to register. Boys & Girls Club officials say that once all slots in each age group are filled, a waiting list will be established.
A mandatory parent and guardian orientation will be held at Holder Park Community Center on Thursday, Nov. 19th with two sessions planned. The first session will begin at 6 p.m. and the second will start at 7:15 p.m.
Officials say that only cash payments for the membership fee, which is per youth, will be accepted.
The new Boys & Girls Club of Cairo/Grady County is schedule to open and begin its activity schedule on Tuesday, December 1.
