Special election precedes CHS open house Monday

First Term Open House will be held at Cairo High School on Monday night, Aug. 31, 2009. All parents are invited to come to the lobby of the auditorium no later than 7 p.m. to pick up their child’s schedule and a school information folder. There will be a short meeting in the auditorium conducted by Mr. David McCurry, principal.  During the meeting two new parent representatives to the CHS School Council will be elected.
After the meeting in the auditorium, parents will follow their child’s schedule and visit in teachers’ classrooms.
If parents want to talk to a particular teacher concerning a student’s progress or grades, please call the Guidance Office at 377-2883 to set up an appointment. Open House is a time for parents to meet individual teachers and for teachers to explain their classroom expectations and procedures. No specific grades will be discussed at Open House.
