Habitat seeks family for new home

Grady County Habitat for Humanity is now accepting applications for a Partner Family to own the next Habitat home.  Construction on the new home will begin in the Fall of 2009.
Interested families should call the Habitat office during February and March for more information.  An application will be mailed to them and an interview scheduled.  The phone number is (229) 377-0952.  Families who have applied in the past must submit new applications.
To qualify as a Partner Family, you must show an ability to pay the no-interest mortgage, be willing to contribute volunteer hours to the organization, and demonstrate need for adequate housing.  The home may be built on land provided by Habitat or on land owned by the partner family.
Habitat for Humanity is a non-denominational, volunteer, Christian ministry that seeks to provide adequate, affordable homes to people in need.
