DR. KERMIT GILLIARD, superintendent of Grady County Schools, is the recipient of the 2020 Georgia School Superintendent Association President’s Award. The honor was announced last week at the association’s Annual Fall Bootstrap Conference held in Athens. These awards are given to superintendents for outstanding leadership in their school systems and communities, according to Tim Helms, executive director of Southwest Georgia RESA.
