A NEW PRIMARY CARE CLINIC will open in this Cairo location on U.S. 84 later this year, MainStreet Family Care.
A new urgent care and primary care clinic is opening on U.S. 84 in Cairo this fall. MainStreet Family Care is opening the walk-in clinic, which will be located in a renovated building that once housed the local Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant.
“We are excited to begin our expansion into Georgia with our new clinics in Bainbridge and Cairo. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve these cities and surrounding communities like Whigham,” stated Chief Executive Officer of MainStreet Family Care, Sam Eskildsen. “We consider our staff and our patients as one family, and in a time of need we help get our family members feeling better, fast. Our hope is that offering patients the convenience of shorter wait times and same day appointments with trained, certified providers will make healthcare accessible to everyone near Cairo and the surrounding area.”
Maxus Construction has begun renovations on the new clinic, a 2,700 square foot facility that will feature multiple exam rooms, a procedure room, and X-ray machine.
Once open, the facility will operate seven days a week with extended hours and an in-house pharmacy.
MainStreet Family Care is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama and serves rural communities.
