Deputies with the Grady County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Tallahassee man as he allegedly smoked a marijuana cigar Friday afternoon. Deputies had responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 5000 block of U.S. 84 East just before 2 p.m., when they found Julian Lee Graham in the back yard of a residence. Deputies said they noticed the marijuana cigar as they approached Graham, who said he was waiting on the homeowner to return home so he could buy a vehicle.
Deputies said as they continued to speak with Graham, his stories began to conflict, and the Sheriff’s Grady Drug Unit was called in to assist.
Drug Commander Chris Luckey says agents found in Graham’s possession “an undisclosed amount of cash, multiple bags of marijuana, an unidentified crystal-like substance, and a loaded Ruger P90 handgun.”
Graham is charged with possession of a firearm by convicted felon, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. “Graham has an extensive history involving illegal drugs,” states Commander Luckey. He remained in the Grady Detention Center Tuesday.
