Roddenbery family members, ex-employees to share memories of renowned local industry

Grady County Historical Society members and guests will hear an informative program on the W.B. Roddenbery Company, one of the county’s early industries at its September meeting.
The society meeting will be held next Tuesday, Sept. 8, beginning at 7 p.m. and will be held in the Cairo City Council Chambers on North Broad Street.
The history of the company will be given by members of the family,  Lucretia Roddenbery and Robin Renaud, with some former employees sharing some of their memories. All former employees are invited to attend and those present will be recognized. Members of the society and the general public are encouraged to attend.
