District 3 County Commissioner Charles Norton, whose district includes the area hit hard by a tornado Thursday, estimates that millions of dollars of timber was destroyed by the twister. For miles the tornado twisted the tops out of trees like these on Beverly Plantation. Once the twister sat down the damage was even greater.
