Services for Calvin C. Crosson, Jr., 82, of Whigham, GA, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 24, 2009, at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Whigham, GA, with interment following in Union Cemetery in Mitchell County, GA.  Rev. Mike Albritton and Rev. Kris Mullis will officiate.  Mr. Crosson passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA.
Mr. Crosson was born in Camilla, GA, to the late Calvin C. Crosson, Sr., and Irma Hutto Crosson.  On February 21, 1947, Mr. Crosson married Paula Annette NeSmith Crosson, who preceded him in death July 14, 2002.  He was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, a farmer and a route salesman for Pepsi Cola, Inc.  He served in the U. S. Navy.
Survivors include:  son, Marion Crosson, Whigham, GA; grandsons, Jeffery Crosson and Cody Crosson both of Whigham, GA; a sister, Janice Mullis (Jim), Enterprise, AL; special friend, Annie Ruth Singleton, Camilla, GA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Annette NeSmith Crosson, his parents, Calvin C. Crosson, Sr. and Irma Hutto Crosson, a sister, Doris Giddens and a brother, James Crosson.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service time of 11:00 a.m.
