Cairo High School to host open house next Monday

Cairo High School will hold its First Semester Open House Monday, Aug. 29 at 6:30 p.m.  Parents and guardians are asked to meet in the C.H.S. auditorium for a quick meeting to pick up student schedules. Everyone will then be dismissed to follow his or her student’s schedule and meet their first semester teachers.  Parents will receive a class syllabus and brief description of the class and expectations for the first semester.
Cairo High School will also host its AP Curriculum Night for parents with students currently enrolled in Advanced Placement classes or who are interested in taking those classes in the future. This meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. before Open House on Aug. 29.  The meeting will be held in the C.H.S. Media Center. Parents and students will learn more about Advanced Placement classes and what is expected in these classes.
