CHAMBER OFFICIAL RESIGNS

Cairo-Grady County Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President Jennifer Majors has resigned after seven years with the the chamber, officials announced today.
Mrs. Majors has accepted a position with Southwest Georgia RESA in Camilla. Her last day on the job will be Oct. 27.
Chamber Chairman Chastity Cox and Executive Director Chadd Mathis said they would begin advertising the vacancy immediately.
“We would like to thank Jennifer for her seven years of dedicated service to the community and wish her well in her new endeavors,” chamber officials said in a statement released Wednesday afternoon.
